Tim Glanzer

Timothy Glanzer, age 55, of Hillside Colony, died peacefully at home on August 26, 2015. A funeral will be held in Tim's honor on Friday afternoon after 1:00 PM at the Hillside Colony near Doland. He was born at Huron Colony on June 12, 1960, then moved to Hillside Colony in 1961. He then lived in New Dale for 5 years and following his years at New Dale, he returned to Hillside Colony where he married Margaret Glanzer on July 7, 1985 and was married for 30 years. His battle with cancer was difficult to watch as he slowly withered with pain each day. Even in his last days, he was steadfast in his Faith and his longing to spend eternity with Jesus. We will miss you, take comfort knowing that you have no more pain and are rejoicing with the angels. Tim was very dedicated to his jobs. He was Dairyman for 5 years, Carpenter for 2 years, German school teacher, gardener and handyman for 21 years. He enjoyed working in the garden with the women and children. One of his greatest enjoyments was when he could make something handy for the women. He always tried his best and was usually successful.
