Thomas "Tom" Lee Fjelland

Thomas Lee "Tom" Fjelland, age 58, Watertown, formerly of Clark died at his home in Watertown on Wednesday, July 18, 2018.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at 1:30 PM in the United Methodist Church at Clark with Pastor Mark Tracy officiating. A private burial will be held at a later date in the Clark Center Lutheran Cemetery near Clark. Music will be presented by Dorothy Fuller.

Thomas Lee Fjelland was born on July 3, 1960 at Watertown, the son of Donally & Bonnie (Anderson). Tom attended Clark Elementary School and graduated from Clark High School in 1978. Tom then attended the National College of Business in Rapid City.

On December 5, 1992 he was united in marriage to Jaci Anderson at Grace Lutheran Church in Watertown. To this union a daughter, McKenzie, was born.  Over the years Tom has worked for the ASCS Office, Active Heating and Air Conditioning and also was self-employed as a fencer and horse trainer.

In his free moments he enjoyed hand tooling leather, making furniture out of reclaimed wood, training and riding horses, and watching and being a part of rodeos. Second to none though was his love of watching his daughter, McKenzie in her various activities.

Survivors include his daughter, McKenzie Fjelland of Claire City, mother, Bonnie Anderson Fjelland Rosenau and step-father Darrell Rosenau of Clark, siblings, Doug (Christy) Fjelland and their son, Ethan of Victoria, MN, Todd (Susan) Fjelland and their children, Lauren, Sydnie, and Turner all of Clark, and Betsy Fjelland of Sioux Falls. He also leaves a great-aunt, Nina Troske, aunt & uncle, Cleo and Gene Mann, aunt, Nyla Anderson, uncle, Gaylon Bratland , uncle, John Penn, his former wife, Jaci Wolfe and his step-children, Brandon Johnson, Kirsten Lee, and Kelsey Hansen along with a host of other family members.

Preceding him in death was his father, Donally Fjelland, Maternal Grandparents, Ralph and Leona Anderson and Paternal Grandparents, Louie and Mabel Fjelland and numerous other family members.
