Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 31, 2014 at 10:30 AM in the St. Paul Lutheran Church at Clark with The Reverend Gary Anderson officiating. A private burial will be held in the Rose Hill Cemetery at Clark. She was born Shirley Jean Reinhardt at Miller, SD on July 15, 1943, the daughter of Emerald "Stem" and Mildred (Carl) Reinhardt. She attended elementary school in Ree Heights, then Miller School and graduated from high school at Bonilla. While at Bonilla, she was involved in singing. Shirley lived in Miller and then moved to Redfield. It was in Redfield she met her future husband who was a policeman there, Charles H. "Chuck" "Bud" Seefeldt. The couple was married in Huron during the State Fair on September 3 of 1966. To this union 2 daughters were born, Paula and Charlene. They lived in Garfield Township northwest of Clark and were members of Clark Center Lutheran Church. Shirley will long be remembered by many for her love of cooking, whether it be at the Clark Lanes, The Imperial, Gas Plus or wherever else she might show up, a love she shared with 100's over some 23 plus years. Everyone knew she meant business during hunting season, a steak pick would go in her mouth, blunt side first, she would bite down and stand at the grill for hours, don't get in her way! She worked for the Larkin Potato Company riding the potato harvester. In her free time she enjoyed baking for others, cooking at home, having coffee with friends, visiting, dancing, playing cards and helping with church activities from the Lutefisk supper to being on the funeral committee. In recent times she spent countless hours at night sitting in Gas Plus, visiting while folding pizza boxes, just for something to do. She has been a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Clark since the family moved into town in 1987. Chuck died on March 25, 2011. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, brother, Keith (Carmen) Reinhardt, nephew, Duane Reinhardt, and brothers-in-law, Don & Bob. Survivors include her daughters, Paula (Jeff) Sattler of Lake Norden, Charlene (Herb) Loterbauer of Willow Lake, 4 grandchildren, Andrea (Jesse), Shasta (Tyler), Lexi, and Herb or as Shirley called him "Big Guy" and a great-grandson, Ryker. She also leaves to mourn siblings, Sharon (Roger) Styer and Neil (Sharon) Reinhardt all of Huron, a sister-in-law, Anna Mae Seefeldt of Rapid City, an aunt, Dorothy Shirk of Clark, cousins, nieces and nephews.
