Ronald "Ronnie" Ralph Seefeldt

Graveside services will be held on Friday, June 24, 2022 at 1:00 PM at the Collins Cemetery in Willow Lake, SD.

Ronald (Ronnie) Ralph Seefeldt of Varnville, SC formerly of Willow and Watertown, passed away on January 22, 2022 at Hampton Medical Center in Hampton, SC. He was born on September, 30, 1948 near the Manchester Corner to Clifford and Irene Seefeldt. He was raised on the family farm. He attended country school and graduated from Willow Lake High School in 1966.

He enlisted in the US Navy and served a tour of duty in Vietnam with the Navy Seabees. He then was in Aviation on Naval Ships based in San Diego, CA. He then went to Millington, TN and then to Great Lakes, IL where he retired after 20 years of service with an honorable discharge.

He lived in Watertown, SD and was a builder of trade mostly building and constructing houses and later owned his own business known as Ronald Seefeldt Construction. He was a member of the Watertown Area Builders Association for many years. He was a kind person and was willing to help anyone he could. He married Pat Wiggins on September 2015.

Grateful for having shared in his life are his wife Pat of Varnville, SC; a daughter Julie (Sonny) and grandson Hayden of Almo, KY; sons Todd and James Seefeldt; a sister Eileen (Dennis) Dunbar of Clark; and nephews Jimmy (Jill) Dunbar of Clark, and Tracy (Kim) Dunbar of Watertown.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Irene (Dirksen) Seefeldt, a brother Darwin Seefeldt, a daughter Marcie Seefeldt, and his paternal and maternal grandparents.
