Robert "Bob" Weinreis, 53, of Watertown, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at his home in Watertown. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at First United Methodist Church in Watertown with Reverend Joel Higgins officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be held at a later date. Casketbearers will be Gene Weinreis, Bill Weinreis, Drew Weinreis, Kevin Labrie, Bruce Williamson and Todd Williams. Robert James Weinreis was born on September 11, 1959 in Redfield, the son of Laverne Weinreis and Phylis (Stadtlander) Bollerslev. He attended school in Doland, SD and graduated from Doland High School in 1978. While in high school, he worked on the family dairy farm and was active in F.F.A. and 4-H where he showed cattle. After high school he started driving truck for Williamson Trucking. He then worked on a dairy farm near Florence area before trucking for Stromseth Construction. On September 11, 1999, he was united in marriage to Robin Cole at First United Methodist Church in Watertown. He spent several years driving truck for Terex in Watertown before recently going to work for B and G Welding where he was working at the time of his death. One of Bob's greatest joys was riding his Honda motorcycle and was known by many as "Honda Bob." He also loved to spend time with his family and friends, especially his nieces and nephews. He is survived by his wife, Robin Weinreis, of Watertown, SD; father, Laverne (Jane) Weinreis, of Doland, SD; two brothers, Gene (Marsha) Weinreis, of Doland, SD, Bill (Candy) Weinreis, of Huron, SD; six sisters, Mary (Tom) Anderson, of Birchwood, WI, Teresa (Ralph) Perry, of Winters, FL, Callen (Bill) Keating, of Sioux Falls, SD, Betty Weinreis (special friend, Dan) of Hewitt, MN, Bobbi Radcliff (special friend, Kevin) of Redfield, SD and Sandra Mehdi, of Riverview, FL; grandmother, Edna Stadtlander, of Mountain Lake, MN and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother, Phylis (Dean) Bollerslev, brother, James, two nieces, Amanda Weinreis and Nicole Bussard and one nephew, Derek Weinreis.
