The sixty-three short years we shared with you, they were not enough. So many things left we wanted to share with you. We wanted to tell you a few more times how much we loved you. We can only thank our Lord for the years he gave us with you. We will miss you more than words can say. We went to you so often for advice, help or just to talk. You made every problem seem so small just by listening. If we could only have gotten the chance to say good-bye. Lord, please help us say, thy will be done. Someday in Heaven we shall meet again. Until then we love and miss you, Dad! and Grandpa Ich hab mich Gott ergeben, Dem liebsten Vater meein; Hier ist Kein ewiges Leben, Es musz geschieden sein; Der Tod Kann mir nicht schaden, Es ist nur mein Gewinn, In Gottes Fried und Gnaden, Fahrisyh mit Freud dahin.
