Randy David Zellner was born on September 2, 1957 at Webster, the son of Charles and Dorothy (Chell) Zellner.  Randy was raised in Watertown until the 5th grade when the family moved to Florence.  He graduated from Florence High School in 1975.

Following his high school graduation he went to work for Rauen Steel Construction and then attended Lake Area Technical Institute and received a degree in welding. On September 2, 1989 he was united in marriage to Patty Popham.  To this union two children were born, Krista and Colter.

Randy went to work at Persona in Watertown until suffering a life altering stroke in 2010.  During much rehabilitation and perseverance he was still able to enjoy all the things he was passionate about. He loved to go hunting, even learning how to shoot a gun with one arm.  Randy enjoyed driving around in his Ford pick-up truck and was a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys.  His greatest joy of all was spending time with Krista and Colter. On January 5th of this year he was diagnosed with a terminal cancer.  His determination and strength still allowed him to be with his family at their homes up until this past week.  He thoroughly enjoyed getting out and being with friends and family.

Preceding him in death was his mother, Dorothy (Chell) Zellner.

Survivors include his children, Krista (Martin) Prouty of Bryant and Colter Zellner of Goodwin, his father, Charles Zellner, siblings, Debbie Bludorn and Christy Randall, nieces and nephews, Wendy Meek, Jessie and Heidi Bludorn, and Jaiden and Kylie Randall, his children's mother, Patty Rauen of Goodwin,  along with a host of other family and friends.

Arrangements are with the Furness Funeral Home of Clark where there is an online guestbook at www.furnessfuneralhome.com
