Phyllis Maree (Michalski) Larson

Phyllis Maree (Michalski) Larson, age 70, Coon Rapids, MN, formerly of Willow Lake, the widow of Lloyd E. Larson, died in Clark on Thursday evening, June 16, 2011. She had arrived in Clark on Thursday afternoon to attend her brothers, Rod Michalski, visitation and services. She had attended the visitation and visited with so many family members, then retired for the evening. She died peacefully in her sleep last night. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 from 5-8PM at the Gearhart Funeral Home at 11275 Foley Blvd NW, Coon Rapids, MN 55448 (763)755-6300. www.gearhartfuneralhome.com. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, June 23, 2011 at 11AM in the Epiphany Catholic Church, 11001 NW Hanson Blvd., Coon Rapids, MN. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery. She was born at Clark, SD on November 11, 1940 the daughter of Sylvester and Dorathy (Nogelmeier) Michalski. She attended school in Lake Township and Willow Lake high school. She was married to Lloyd E. Larson, he died in September of 2001. Phyllis was a nurse for many years in Coon Rapids after attending the St. John's School of Nursing in Huron, SD. Local arrangements are being handled by the Furness Funeral Home of Clark where there is an on-line registry at www.furnessfuneralhome.com Her sons, James (Deanna) Larson of Hartford, SD and Dana (Julie) Larson of Ham Lake, MN, and her sister, Sally Jo Ingemunson and husband Greg of Black Hawk, SD, were in Clark to attend Rod's services also, please keep the Michalski-Larson family in your prayers.
