Nancy Buchanan

Nancy (Hovde) Buchanan, 82, of Merritt Island, Florida, passed away peacefully on September 20th, ending a long battle with cancer.

Graveside services for Nancy and her husband will be held on Friday, October 14th at 2:00 pm at the Good Hope Lutheran Cemetery. The Reverend Keith Garness will officiate. A fellowship and light lunch will follow in the Church basement.

Originally from Clark County, South Dakota, she moved to Merritt Island, Florida in 1961 with her husband Dean Buchanan of Chadron, Nebraska.

She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Cocoa for nearly 50 years.

She is survived by her children, Ian, Patrick (Chris), five grandchildren and three siblings, Roger, Rodney and Leone.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dean, parents, Nels and Lyda Hovde, and a brother, Morris.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 AM,  October 2, 2016 at Messiah Lutheran Church in Cocoa, Fl.
