Nancy Berendes

Nancy Berendes, age 47, Doland, died on Monday, July 6, 2020, at Prairie Lakes from injuries received in a traffic accident in Clark County on the evening of the 5th.

A family directed Memorial service with time of sharing will be held at noon on Friday, July 17 ^th in the Doland Fire Hall at Doland, South Dakota.

She was born on June 21 ^st , 1973 at Hamilton, Montana, the daughter of James Allen and Marilyn (Haugness) Wescott.  Nancy grew up in the Faulkton and Redfield area.  She met Darcy Berendes in Redfield and they were married a short time later.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Ruth Wecker, David, James, Debbie, and Allen Wescott.

Survivors include her husband, Darcy, children, Kristina Hove, Chanice Gakin, Justin and Trenton Berendes, and step-children, Cody Berendes, Stephanie Boyer, Christopher Callender and Cody Gebhardt and a sister, Elsie Wescott.
