Myron "Mike" Larson, age 83, Bonham, TX formerly of the Clark area, died on November 15, 2011 at the Red River Regional Hospital in Bonham, Texas. Graveside services will be held on Sunday, September 16, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the Clark Center Lutheran Cemetery north of Clark. The Reverend Robin Schaunaman will preside. The Furness Funeral Home of Clark is serving the family. He was born on November 14, 1928 at Clark, the son of Anna and Almer Larson. He was baptized and confirmed in the Clark Center Lutheran Church. Following schooling he served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He lived in Sonora, CA for nearly 40 years before he and his wife Pat began traveling throughout the Unites States in their RV. They later settled in Yuma, AZ. For the past three years he has lived in Murphy, TX with a step-daughter, Karen Hallmark and her husband. Besides his step-daughter Karen, he is also survived by a son, Michael Larson of Sonora, a sister Ruby (Jim) Bragg of Palo Alto, CA; another step-daughter Pam Makdissy, a granddaughter, Kristen, two great-grandchildren, Emma and Sam, sisters-in-law, Shirley Larson of Clark and Doris Larson of Watertown and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Preceding him in death were his parents, wife of 33 years, Patricia Larson, a daughter, Linda Rolfe and his siblings, Ludolf and Ivan Larson, Cora Kasperson, Elvira McCrea, Agnes Kemp, Alice Douglas and Ruth during her teenage years.
