Mr. Fister died in the Royal C. Johnson Veterans Administration Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD after a long illness.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2:30 PM in the Furness Funeral Home Chapel at Clark. Father Ken Bain will officiate. Music will be provided by Dorothy Fuller as pianist and Brenda LaBrie as soloist. The United States Flag will be presented to his wife Margaret by Robert Bauman, Clark American Legion. Burial will be at a later date.

There will be no visitation.

He was born in Greene County, IA on April 1, 1921, the son of George and Goldie (DeMoss) Fister. Following his schooling he became a member of the United States Army serving his country for some 25 years. Following his Army career, he went to work as a construction worker on electrical power lines for IBW #55 in Des Moines, IA. He retired in 1974 after suffering a major heart attack.

He was united in marriage to Margaret Lorenz, a former Clark resident. They had an adopted son, Michael. When Milo was in WWII he adopted an orphan that was near death, paid for his care and return to the USA. A brother of Milos and his sister in law helped raise this child. His name was Bob Fister.

The couple moved to Watertown to be near other family in September of 2002.

He is survived by his wife Margaret of Watertown, a son Michael and wife Amanda of Watertown and the other son, Bob Fister. Also surviving are his brothers, George Fister and wife Martha Mae of Arizona City, AZ and Charles Fister and wife Virginia of Redlands, CA and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents, brothers, John, Roy, Dwayne, Ralph and Dale and sisters, Gertie, Mary, Leora and Vada.
