Mark Mcclendon

Mark McClendon, age 66, of Watertown, SD, passed away peacefully at the Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls on April 24, 2023. Mark was preceded in death by his father, Robert McClendon, mother, LaVonne "Bonnie" McClendon Boehnke, and brother, Richard "Rick" McClendon. Mark is survived by his older brothers, Robert "Bob" McClendon, and Randy McClendon.

Mark had a deep appreciation of the arts and had studied in the Bachelor of Fine Arts Program at California State University, Long Beach. Mark was a talented artist and he worked as an advisor using his in-depth knowledge of ceramics at several companies in Southern California. Mark ran McClendon Antiques and Fine Art in Watertown for over 20 years where he traded in antiques and collectibles locally and online.

There will be a graveside service held for Mark on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at 2:00 PM at the Graceland Cemetery in Henry, SD.
