Louise (Mrs. Robert) Frost, age 70, of Naples , died early Friday morning at her home after a long illness. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at 10:30 AM in the St. Henry's Catholic Church in Henry with the Reverend Douglas Binsfeld officiating. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery. Music will be provided by Duane Smith. Casket bearers will be Burton Phillips, Brian & Alex Frost, Anthony Galbraith and Brian & Dusty Holida. Visitation will be held at St. Henry's Church on Monday from 5-7PM with a Liturgical Wake Service and Rosary at 7PM. Louise Annette Frost was born on January 19, 1938 at Gettysburg , SD , the daughter of Francis and Louise Cecilia (Salvatori) Doerr. She graduated from Agar High School in 1956. On May 25, 1960 she was united in marriage to Robert Frost at Agar, SD. The couple lived in Watertown for 2 years, then moved to Naples in December of 1962 where they resided until her death. Some of her fondest moments were spent feeding birds, gardening, tending to her flowers, and playing harmonica. Louise loved helping others, visiting neighbors, providing meals and praying. Many will remember Louise for her Christmas cards and poems written from her heart. Her children recalled her love of baking, especially caramel rolls. She was a faithful, devoted and prayerful member of St. Henry's Catholic Church. Survivors whom are grateful for having shared her life are her husband Robert 'Frosty' Frost of Naples , 9 children, Mary Phillips of Columbus , Neb. , Tom (Beth) Frost of Lakeville, MN, Nick Frost of Watertown, Mike (Stacy) Frost of Brandon, David Frost of Bloomington, MN, Ken Frost of Naples, Angela (Steve) Fiore of Norwalk, CT, Kathy (Mike) George of Brooklyn Park, MN and Christi Frost of Brookings; 11 grandchildren, Meghan, Brian, Alex, Olivia, Sophia, John, Kelsey, Hannah, Brooke, Todd and Avery. Her siblings, Gert 'Trudy' Lanham of Ballwin, MO, Ray Doerr of Pierre, Charles Doerr of CA, John Doerr of Mountain View, CA and Frances Johnson of Denver, CO. Preceding her in death were her parents, a daughter, Theresa, sisters, Carolyn Brenner, Elaine (Oliver) Evans, Bernadette & Mary Doerr (in infancy) and brothers-in-law, Morris Johnson, Gene Lanham.
