Loren Fuller, age 74, the husband of Mary Fuller, died early morning on Monday, August 3, 2020, in Le Mars, IA.

Public visitation will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2020, from noon to 2 PM at Furness Funeral Home of Clark, SD. Masks or face coverings are required. Public graveside services will be held at 3 PM at the Good Hope Lutheran Cemetery of rural Willow Lake, SD with Reverend Chris Meier officiating. Bring lawn chairs for outdoor service.

Loren Kenneth Fuller was born March 7th, 1946, in Clark, SD to Mark and Mildred (Saboe) Fuller.  He was raised on the family farm in Merton Township near Naples.

He attended SE Merton school thru 8th grade and then Willow Lake High School, graduating in 1964.  He was also a confirmed member of Good Hope Lutheran Church.  After high school he attended SDSU for a year and then returned to the family farm to farm with his father and brother.

On August 1st, 1970, he was united in marriage to Mary Ruth Larson at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Clark, SD.  Following their marriage they lived and farmed near Naples and the Willow Lake area.  In 1978 they moved to Waseca, MN where Loren attended the University of Minnesota - Waseca.  He graduated with High Honors in Animal Science.

After graduation in Waseca, they moved to Watertown, SD where he was the manager of a large hog farm.  Loren would eventually purchase his own hog farm near Watertown.

In 1983 they moved back to Merton Township south of Clark, SD where they raised their 3 children.

In 2002 they moved to LeMars, IA where Loren worked at the Pride group.  Loren retired in 2008.  He enjoyed being with his Bichon Frise puppy Teddy and sitting outside watching the birds and squirrels.  He also enjoyed cheering for the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday afternoons.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 50 years, Mary Fuller of Le Mars, IA; his three children,  daughter, Tammy (Clayton) Stephens of Sweet Home, OR, and sons Darin (Kandy) Fuller of Tea, SD and Ryan Fuller of Le Mars, IA; four grandchildren Zecharia (Alex) Stephens of Laurel, NE, Jacob Stephens of Le Mars, IA, Tiffany Stephens of Sweet Home, OR and Jasmine Stephens of Wayne, NE; and the newest member of the family his great grandchild Emma Stephens born July 20, 2020.  Also surviving are his bother Gordon (Joyce) Fuller of Willow Lake, SD, his sister Marlys (Dave) Glaim of Rogers, AR and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mark and Mildred Fuller, his sisters Nila Mae Fuller and Joan Fuller, and his brother Donald Fuller.
