Mrs. Lenore Huber, age 84 of Clark died on Sunday evening in the Beverly Healthcare Center at Clark. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2:00PM in the Plymouth Congregational United Church of Christ at Clark with Pastor Donna Nickels officiating. Burial will follow in the Prairie Valley Cemetery at Raymond. She was born on March 20, 1920 at Raymond, SD the daughter of Otto and Herve (Johnson) Fischer. She attended country school near Raymond and graduated from Ash Consolidated School north of Raymond in 1937. Following her high school education, she attended the Western Business College in Mitchell, SD graduating in 1940. She lived in California for many years where she was employed by Peninsula Creamery in Palo Alto and later by the Santa Cruz County Sheriffs Dept. retiring in 1982. In 1995 she moved to Clark, SD to live near her sisters. She was a loving Mother, an avid reader and enjoyed many hours in the company of her dogs, cats and birds. Grateful for having shared her life are her children, Diane Pettinger and husband George of Watsonville, CA, Patricia Burt and partner George Kuzma of Santa Cruz, CA and Fred Huber and wife Elizabeth of Aptos, CA; sisters, Maxine Fischer and Wilma Stevens and husband Dale all of Clark, Bruce Liddicoat and husband Walt of Palo Alto, CA, Jean Wear and husband John of Lincoln, CA, and John Fischer and wife Bette of Wilseyville, CA. Preceding her in death were her parents, brothers, Alton, Merrill and Dale Fischer. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Clark, SD Medical Van program. There will be no visitation. The Furness Funeral Home of Clark is handling the arrangements.
