As a farm wife, Lauretta was always a parts runner for the guys farming and would haul water and lunches to the field. She was a school bus driver for Thorpe School. Together, Gus and Lauretta enjoyed playing cards, dancing, and traveling taking road trips to wherever the road would go whether it be on snowmobile or by car! Gus died in 1991. In 2009, Lauretta moved into the Wookey Assisted Living Center and in 2014, she moved into the Clark Care and Rehabilitation Center.
