Kenneth W Marotz

Kenneth W. Marotz, age 80, Clark died on Friday afternoon, July 8, 2011 in the Royal C. Johnson Veterans Hospital in Sioux Falls. There will be no funeral services held. He had willed his body to the USD, School of Medicine, Vermillion, SD for research. Burial will be private. He was born on March 20, 1931 at Grover, SD, the son of August and Louise (Miller) Marotz. He grew to adulthood in the Grover/Florence area attending country schools. He served his country during the Korean War in the United States Navy and was honorable discharged in March of 1950. Kenneth lived and worked as an electrician in California for many years. He moved to Clark a few years ago and enjoyed attending the 60's Plus meals at the Playhouse Restaurant. Survivors include his daughter Anna Marotz of Roseville, CA, and a brother, LaVerne (Alice) Marotz of Watertown. Preceding him in death were his parents, brothers, DeWayne, Gordon, LeLand and Gerald and a sister, Berniece Tereixa.
