Katherine "Kathy" Weeks

Katherine "Kathy" L. Weeks, age 92, Watertown, passed away peacefully early morning of May 17, 2022 at the Jenkins Living Center at Watertown with family at her side.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 23, 2022 at 1:00 PM in the Furness Funeral Home Chapel at Clark with Pastor Scott Dempster officiating.  Visitation will be held 2 hours preceding the services.  Pastor Scott Dempster will officiate.  Following a light luncheon, burial will be in the Mt Hope Cemetery at Watertown.

Katherine "Kathy" L. Weeks, age 92, Watertown, passed away peacefully early morning of May 17, 2022 at the Jenkins Living Center at Watertown with family at her side.

Kathy was born on October 22, 1929, to Gustav and Katherine (Hobelsberger) Strutz in South Shore, SD.  She grew up in South Shore where she received her education, graduating from South Shore High School.

She worked in Watertown at the Busy Bee Café and Minnesota Rubber. Kathy enjoyed playing cards, fishing, traveling, and most of all, the time spent with family at her house on Lake Norden.

Grateful for having shared her life are her children, daughter Carol (Ron) Scheff, Big Stone, son Robert (Jody Keeler) Weeks, son Tom (Julie) Weeks, daughter Kay (Ed) Evans, all of Watertown, daughter Debbie (Neil) Anderson of Waubay, and daughter Jackie (Tony) Lenards, Watertown; fifteen grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Gustav and Katherine Strutz; 5 brothers, William, John, Ted, Robert, and Tom Strutz; and 5 sisters, Helen Jepp, Mary Anderson, Annie Slominski, Bertha Ries, and Amanda Bell.
