Joseph Dean Guest

He was born at Watertown, SD on October 11, 1956, the son of Billie and Dorothy (Gross) Guest. He attended Clark Schools.

He was united in marriage to Sherry Swanson on February 10, 1975 at Clark. To this union 2 children were born, Joe Jr. and Jessica. Sherry died in 1981. He was united in marriage to Carrol Schultz. To this union, Donnie Joe and Joezie were born.

He has been working for a railroad tie firm for a number of years. Besides his love of the land, he also enjoyed hunting, playing cards, family and telling stories.

Survivors include his children, Jessica (Jeff) Reidburn of Clark, Joe (Lindsey) Guest of Council Bluffs, IA, Donnie Joe and Joezie of Sioux Falls. Grandchildren, brothers, Jim (Doris) Guest and John (Janet) all of Clark, Step-sisters, Caroline (Dave) Musser of Clark, Dianne (Don) Herman of Watertown and a step-brother Harley (Marsha) Gloe of Clark.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, October 14, 2003 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Clark with The Reverend Roger Semmler officiating. Burial was in the Rose Hill Cemetery at Clark.
