Joseph P Glanzer

Joseph P. Glanzer passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at home with family by his side. Joe was born on January 25, 1952 to Paul and Susie Glanzer at Jamesville Colony. He was baptized upon confession of his faith on April 11, 1976. He married the love of his life Katherine Kleinsasser on May 9, 1976. Together they were blessed with 48 years of marriage and 5 beautiful children that he loved with all of his heart.

Joe served the community in a number of positions over the years: he was a  dairyman for 26 years; which he enjoyed immensely, he helped with the turkeys for a time; working alongside his brother John; which created a special bond between the two. In his later years he worked at Dakotaland with his son Terry until his health declined in February of this year.

Dads friendly personality won the hearts of many and the last 3 months those friends brightened his days with visits, phone calls, and prayers. Dad had a special bond with each of his children and his phone calls will be dearly missed.

Dad, we just want to tell you how much we love you and thank you for  always being there for us...through the years if there was something you thought we needed you tried to get it for us...spoiled us, YES...spending those last few weeks around you has been such a blessing. We feel God gave us such a gift...even though it's so hard thinking we won't have you around any longer. God was so good as to plan this where we get all those special moments with you. We just know that you'll be there waiting to spend more time with us. Just know we appreciate each and every thing you've ever done for us. Fly high with the angels Dad, we love you to the moon and back.

Funeral services will be at Clark Colony on Saturday, April 27, 2024 with a visitation Friday evening.
