Jerry Lee Palmer was born on February 1, 1968, to Leonard and Donna (Coan) Palmer. He grew up in Clark, SD where he graduated from Clark High School in 1988.
After graduating, Jerry moved to Glendon, MN then Dilworth, MN. On January 14,1994, Jerry's father, Leonard, donated a life saving kidney to him that lasted for 30 years. On May 21, 1994, Jerry and Anne welcomed their first child, Chantel. September 1, 1995, Jerry and Anne (Schneider) were married. They moved to Pipestone, MN where he graduated from the vocational school with high honors for butchering. They moved to Minneapolis in 1996. In 1999, they moved back to South Dakota. On Jerry and Anne's 9 year anniversary (September 1, 2004) they welcomed their second child, Brandon, into the family.
Jerry was a chef at Sanford and a butcher, but he is most fondly remembered for his entrepreneurial crafts; doing woodworking and mirror work. He was truly a 'jack of all trades.'
Jerry was a true outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing. He collected cars and eagles; but his true passion was his family.
Grateful for sharing his life are his wife, Anne (Schneider) Palmer; daughter, Chantel (Stephen) McCoy; grandchildren, Castiel and Damian McCoy; son, Brandon Palmer; mother, Donna (Coan); brother, Dean Palmer; nephew, Sam Palmer; and many more loving family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Leonard Palmer and his paternal grandparents.
