Jerry Knox

There will be no visitation and a private family burial held at a later date.

He was born on September 22, 1941 at Willow Lake, SD, the son of Clifford and Ethel (Torper) Knox.  Jerry was baptized in the Good Hope Lutheran Church near Willow Lake.  He attended school at Clark.

In 1959 Jerry joined the United States Air Force.  Following his discharge he moved to Minneapolis and after his retirement in 2006, he moved to Watertown and became a resident of the Jenkins Living Center in 2008.

Jerry will long be remembered at Jenkins for his colorful attitude and sitting outside enjoying the fresh air.  He also kept up on local sports and weather and always had a treat in a bag on his wheelchair for  4-legged friends.

He is survived by his siblings, Darlene (Burton) Langendorfer of Omaha, NE, Jeanette Swanson, Ann Ludwig, and Clifford "Jack" (Sharm) Knox all of Watertown and Roger (Sandy) Knox of Sioux Falls, a sister-in-law, Darla (Ron) Know of Britton and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents, a sister Dona (Gilbert) Clyde and 4 brothers, Ronald, Dennis and 2 in infancy.
