Jacqueline "Jackie" L Peckham

A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at 10:30 AM in the St. Michael's Catholic Church at Clark with The Reverend Dan Smith celebrating.  Burial will follow in the St. Boniface Cemetery ay Clark.  Honorary Casketbearers will be granddaughters, Lindsey (Mike), Jenna (Matt), Nicole (Tyler), Tiffany (Justin), and Amber.  The active Casketbearers will be her grandsons, Ryan (Trista Stern) and Matt (Cynthia) Peckham, and Nick and Derek White.  Music will be presented by St. Michael's Church.

She was born Jacqueline Lee Urdahl in Bradley, SD, the daughter of Oscar and Myrtle (Devine) Urdahl on July 3, 1940.  Jackie attended school in Clark, graduating in 1958. On October 16, 1958, she was united in marriage to James W. Peckham at St. Michael's Church.  Following their marriage, the couple moved to Oakes, ND.  They later moved to Sioux Falls and in 1971, returned to Clark. Jackie worked for various Clark retailers and then began working for Citizens State Bank.  Jim died in 1995.  Jackie continued living and working in Clark, retiring as an officer with the bank in 2010, after serving some 36 years. S he enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, crocheting for many, reading, watching golf and The Indianapolis Colts on  television. She also enjoyed tending to her indoor flowers.  Jackie's faith was very important to her, being an active part of St. Michael's Church. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, Jim,  five sisters, Karen Urdahl, Myrtis (Robert) Lyke, Donna (Harold) Hanchett, Shirley (Marvin) Larson and Bonnie Karber; brothers-in-law Bernard Mehlberg, and Bob (Marcella) Peckham.

Survivors include her children, Dianna (Monte) White of Aberdeen, Jim (Terri) Peckham and Rick Peckham all of Clark; 9 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister, Kathleen Mehlberg, of Rapid City and brother-in-law, Kenny Karber of Clark.
