Grace Henderson

Grace Henderson, age 87, Clark, widow of Earl Henderson, Jr., died at her home on Monday, October 19, 2009. She was born on October 19, 1922 at Salem, NJ, the daughter of Clarence and Olive (Myers) Travis. She attended and graduated from high school in New Jersey. Grace married Earl Henderson, Jr. in Elkton, MD. The couple lived in New Jersey where he was a carpenter and commercial fisherman. In 1975 they moved to South Dakota. He died on June 13, 1998. After his death, she continued living near Clark until moving into a home in Clark. She enjoyed coming to the historical society meetings. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband and 4 brothers. Grace is survived by her son, Earl III (Delores) Henderson of Clark, 2 grandchildren, Kirk (Sara) Henderson of Salt Lake City, UT and Kristi (Kenneth) LaFramboise of Sioux Falls amd 3 great-grandchildren, Caleb Isaac and Kaylee Brook Henderson and Peyton Lea LaFramboise.
