Gloria Gott

Gloria Marie Gott, 72, of Clark, SD, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away on February 17, 2024, surrounded by her family at Ava's Hospice House in Sioux Falls, SD.

Gloria was born on September 21, 1951, to Albert and Adeline (Sovell) Anderson in Vienna, SD. She attended Willow Lake school system.

She later married Richard Gott and during that union had 4 children, Shannon, Tonya, Charles and Jaime. She and her daughters moved to Clark in 1988 where she was employed by McCain Foods until it's closing.  She continued to reside in Clark until her death.

Gloria enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and her pets.  In her younger years she enjoyed bowling, dancing and making/ painting ceramic artwork. She was always filling up notepads with her little doodles especially while chatting on the phone with family and friends.  She enjoyed volunteering at the thrift store in Clark where she gained many new friendships.  She loved her daughters with all her heart.

Survivors include Gloria's daughters: Shannon (Roger) Tesch of Watertown, SD, Tonya Gott and fiancé Brian Dilbeck of Rothsay, MN, and Jaime Anderson and partner Leslie Spencer of Delafield, WI. Grandchildren: Bradey, Taryn, Zack and Ashlynne. Great Grandchildren: Lyrik, Cashtyn and Amiyah. Sisters: Doris, Karen and Debbie.  Brothers: Jim, Richard and Robbie; and many nieces and nephews.

Gloria was proceeded in death by her son Charles Michael Gott; Great Grand-daughter Zoey Ambali; her parents, Albert and Adeline Anderson; her sister Diane; Brother Dennis and beloved pets.

A memorial grave site service and celebration of life will be held at a later date.
