Gary Allen Sattler

Gary A. Sattler, age 56, Clark, died on Sunday, May 20, 2018 in a Clark Care center. A memorial visitation will be held Wednesday, May 23, 2018 from 4-7 PM at the Furness Funeral Home in Clark.  A Liturgical Wake Service will be led by The Reverend Daniel Smith at 5 PM. Burial will be private.

Gary Allen Sattler was born December 5, 1961 in Aberdeen, SD to Marlow and Wilma (Longland) Sattler. The family lived on a farm by Raymond until 1966 when they moved to Republic, WA. Gary loved growing up in the mountains and the many adventures he shared there with his two brothers. In 1980, Gary along with his family moved to Watertown and Gary started working at Dakota Poultry. Over the years Gary worked for several construction companies taking great pride in his work. In 1996, Gary along with his Dad Marlow, started S & S Construction. Together they built dairy barns and several other buildings around the area until Gary 's health declined in 2007.

Gary's interests included fast cars, motorcycles, and his music.

Preceding him in death was his dad, Marlow, and a brother Randy of Watertown.

Blessed to share his life, Gary is survived by his mother, Wilma and a brother, Jeff (Paula) Sattler of Clark; sister-in-law, Kathy Sattler of WA. His first wife Gloria and their two children, Shannon Sattler and Sarah (Nick) Meyer of Sioux Falls; Bonnie his second wife and their two children, Aaron and Chris Sattler of Watertown; and his third wife, Tayna, and their two children Joshua Sherwood of Yankton and Tashawna (Brandon) Hardy of Watertown, and several nieces and nephews.
