Mass of Christian Burial will be held on on Tuesday, 21, 2006 at 11:00AM in the St. Michael's Catholic Church at Clark for Mr. Frederick "Fred" White, age 42 of Watertown, formerly of the Bradley/Raymond and Aberdeen communities. Fr. Bill Hamak will officiate. Burial will follow in the Prairie Hill Cemetery at Bradley. Music will be presented by Eileen Heilman as organist and Brenda LaBrie as soloist. Honorary Casketbearers will be Cody, Dustin, Mike and Jon White, Bobby Gross, Kevin Olson, Kiialoni McMannen, Dennis Lyke, Steve Schaunaman and Larry Warren. Ushers will be Art Lynch, Don Lorenz and Mark Schmidt. The Lector is Connie Merkel. Mr. White died on Thursday, November 16, 2006 at his home in Watertown where he had resided for the past two weeks. He was born at Watertown, SD on November 30. 1963, the son of Joseph Robert and Grace LaVerna (Gross) White. He attended grade school at Clark and then the family moved to the Bradley area where he finished school through the eighth grade when the school closed. He graduated from Clark High School in 1982. After graduating from high school, he attended Huron College on a basketball scholarship and then the next year transferred to South Dakota State University at Brookings where he also played basketball. He married Melissa Jessen at Redfield and to this union 4 sons were born. He worked for a time in Redfield and then moved to Rapid City where he was awarded an honor as being a lead salesperson in the insurance industry. Later he moved to Aberdeen and became an automobile salesman at Johnson Motors for many years. He had lived in Alaska recently and then this past April moved to Raymond and lived with his brothers family. He had resided in Watertown for the past two weeks. Besides his love of basketball, he was an avid pool player as well. Survivors include his mother, Grace White of Clark, 4 sons, Zachery, Jeremy, Joshua and Trever White all of Aberdeen and siblings, Judy Lyke and husband Dennis of Aberdeen, Larry White and wife Kathy of Raymond, Jeff White and wife Cindy of Ft. Dodge, IA and Debby Hass and husband Francis of Raymond. Pre ceding him in death was his father and a brother in infancy, David. There will be no visitation.
