Dad peacefully on Angel's wings passed from this world of trials and struggles into his heavenly home on Friday, May 13,2022.
Fred was born June 17, 1935 to Joseph and Susanna (Walter) Waldner in Thorndale (Sharp), Manitoba. He was a man of great virtue, strength, and faith.
As a young man; Fred was a camp worker and he followed his firm beliefs and his heart and helped those less fortunate.
In 1963, he married Katherina Glanzer and had 6 wonderful
children. They enjoyed 51 years of marriage.
Fred was voted in to the position of Financial Manager of Clark Colony and served for 25 years.
Upon retiring; Fred still enjoyed driving throughout the Colony and checking on the fields and just enjoying being out and about.
Fred was a man blessed with a big heart and many loving family members and close friends.
Nearing the end of his life; Fred had contracted a virus that never fully allowed him to recover, so his family stayed by his side
constantly making sure that every need was tended to and that he would continue to be comfortable. His family said that he made no complaints; even though there were days that it would be
justified.
Your life of service, hard work, and toil has come to a close, dear Dad. What an exemplary life of steadfastness you leave us to
cherish and dwell on…
Always a listening ear and a word of comfort for our aching hearts and wounded souls…
Always reminding us to look to our Lord and to seek council in God's Word.
Your persistence in holding to the faith and practices of our
fathers and mothers of old, you literally working hard every day until you simply couldn't anymore, your dignity and sympathy for your fellow man, these actions and deeds left a clearer testament than many words could have, no matter how eloquently spoken…
In His loving hands we commend you, dearest dad and grandpa! May you rest in peace in His love and grace. May you finally
experience the Heavenly father wiping away the tears from your eyes…Never to know another disappointment or pain…
We love you.
