Faye Johnson

Delores Faye (Bjerke)( Mrs. John) Johnson, age 67 of Victoria, MN, formerly of the Bradley/Crocker communities, died on Friday, Dec. 12, 2003 in St. Louis Park, MN after a brief illness. She was the daughter of Carl and Olga (Warwick) Bjerke. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2003 at 11:00 AM in the Westwood Community Church at 3121 Westwood Drive in Excelsior, MN with the Rev. Dave Trautman officiating. Burial in the Lewis Cemetery at Maple Plain, MN. Visitation will be held today (Monday) from 5-8 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home in Waconia, MN. Casketbearers will be Billy Joe Schaefbauer, Rusty Johnson, Scott Brainard, Dean (Beaner) Dill, Jr., Jeff Bjerke and David Gross. She was born on February 29. 1936 at Bradley, SD, the daughter of Carl and Olga (Warwick) Bjerke. She grew to adulthood in the Bradley/Crocker communities. On April 6, 1957 she was united in marriage to John O. Johnson at the Crocker Lutheran Church at Crocker where she was also baptized and confirmed. Grateful for having shared in her life is her husband John of Victoria, MN, children, Beth Johnson and special friend Greg Nelson of Chaska. MN, Dawn Johnson and special friend Scott Gjerdingen of New Hope, MN, Lori Brink and husband Doug of Chaska, MN, Jodie Johnson and husband Steve Yarger of Chaska, MN, John Johnson and wife Kristine of New Prague, MN, Paul (Pokey) Johnson of Victoria, MN and Shelley Kraml and husband Greg of Cologne, MN; 18 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson; siblings, Kenneth Bjerke and wife Nelda of Paynesville, MN, Dorey Gross and husband John of Clark, Donald Dunk Bjerke and wife Elva of Watertown, James Bjerke and wife Sharon of Clark, Roxy Streckfuss and husband Dale of Mina and Becky Schaefbauer and husband Bill of Herried. Preceding her in death were her parents and a brother, Little Joey.
