Name: Eugene W. Yerdon Dates: Birth date: November 1, 1929 Death date: July 15, 2012 Obituary: Eugene W. Yerdon, 82, of Bryant, died Sunday, July 15, 2012 at Parkview Care Center in Bryant. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at 10:30 AM at Family Worship Center Foursquare Church in Watertown with Reverend Steve Ferguson officiating. Burial will be private at a later date. Eugene W. Yerdon was born in Racine, WI on November 1, 1929 to Valentine and Evelyn (Noble) Yerdon. He was baptized and received Jesus Christ as his savior at the age of 7. He completed the 11th grade by attending parochial school and later went on to complete his GED. He attended a college and received 2 ½ years college credit. During his life, Eugene owned a service station that had once sat vacant but was a thriving business while he owned it. He ended up working for Boeing Aircraft as an AOG (Airline on Ground) manager. Eugene married Margaret Storm on September 16, 1966 in Los Vegas, Nevada. Eugene enjoyed playing solitaire, country western and spiritual music, any activity outdoors and he played the piano. Eugene was a very talented artist. He was also a foster grandparent at Lincoln Elementary School in Watertown. Eugene is survived by his wife Margaret of Bryant and a sister; Nettie-Jean McDaniel of Fairview, OR, nieces; Linda Schultz of Racine, WI, Andrea Hurtienne of Gallatin, TN, Roberta Brommer of Racine, WI, a nephew; Geroge H. McDaniel of Fairview, OR. Eugene is preceded in death by his parents and a sister Lois Tabor. Back
