Esther B Waldner

Esther E. Waldner, age 87 of Mayfield Colony, rural Willow Lake, passed away peacefully in her home on August 9, 2009. Services wth burial in the Mayfield Colony Cemetery will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2009. She was born on September 12, 1921 at Huron Colony, near Elie, Manitoba, Canada, the daughter of Andrew and Esther (Tschetter) Glanzer. She lived their until 1937 when she moved to Jamesville Colony near Utica, SD. On May 11, 1947 she was united in marriage to Elias J. Waldner. In 1955 they moved to Clark Colony south of Raymond and then on April 6, 1987 they moved to the Mayfield Colony. He died in 2007. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Betty Glanzer and husband The Reverend Eli, Judy Glanzer and husband Paul all of Mayfield Colony, Clarence Waldner and wife Hilda of Clark Colony, Andy Waldner and wife Edna and Eli Waldner and wife Deborah all of Mayfield, a daughter-in-law, Anna Waldner of Clark Colony. She also leaves 29 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren and her siblings, Andrew, Paul, David and Rebecca Glanzer all of Hillside Colony and Susanna Gross of Claremont Colony. Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband on January 25, 2007, a son Mike and a brother Mike.
