Doris Arlene Hasler was born June 11, 1924 at Cabool, Missouri to parents Leon and Emily (Patton) Shoecraft. She was the eighth of nine children. Early in her childhood, the family moved to a farm near Raymond, SD where she attended school.
On September 30, 1942, she married Floyd Radensleben. Born to this union was a daughter Cynthia "Cindy." Following Floyd's death, she married Richard "Dick" Hasler in 1950. Richard had a son Ray "Rocky." Doris and Dick welcomed their children, Teresa "Terri" and William "Bill" to their family.
The family moved to California in 1954 until Dick passed away. Doris then moved to Clark in 1977. She was well known throughout town for her beautiful flowers and vegetable garden. Many people enjoyed her abundant crops of tomatoes and other vegetables. Doris was also an artist painting many beautiful pictures throughout her life.
With her health failing, she moved in 2016 to an assisted living facility in Rapid City and then later to Dakota Sun Assisted Living In Volga. The last few years she was a resident of Jenkins Living Center in Watertown.
Doris loved all her family very much and loved when they would visit! She loved to visit and would have a friendly wave for anyone who passed by as she spent many hours out weeding her flowers and tending to her vegetable gardens.
Preceding her in death were her husbands, her siblings, a step-son Ray "Rocky" Hasler, and 1 great granddaughter.
She is survived by her children Cindy Brewbaker, Rapid City, Terri (Roger) Goens, Volga, and Bill Hasler, Sioux Falls, five grandchildren, Kelly (Marcie) Hink, Watertown, Kim Kabbech, Rapid City, Tanya (Bernie) Soyring, Waubun, MN, Kacie (Deandre) Goens-Dunklin, Rockford, IL, and Justin Goens, Sioux Falls, nine great-grandchildren, fifteen great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
