Dora Glanzer

Dora Glanzer, age 67, Mrs. Jerry, of Fordham Colony, Carpenter, SD died in the Huron Regional Medical Center late Thursday, August 17, 2017 after a lengthy illness.

Dora, beloved wife, mom, grandma, great-grandma, and sister  was taken peacefully into the merciful arms of her Heavenly Father, at the age of 67,  with her family by her side on August 17, 2017 in Huron at Huron Regional Medical Center.

Dora (Waldner) Glanzer was born March 4, 1950 to Joe and  Elizabeth Waldner at Huron Colony.  She married Jerry Glanzer at     Huron Colony and they later moved to Fordham Colony.  While at  Fordham Colony, she was the Head Cook for 2 years and Kleine Shul for a few years. Dora loved to crochet and sew and spend time with her family.  She also was a wonderful singer who could sing like a bird to her favorite songs. She will be sadly missed.

God saw you getting weary,

so He did what He knew best.

He came and stood beside you and

whispered come and rest.

You wished no one a last farewell

nor even said good bye,

You were gone before we knew it

and only God knows why.

When God called you to rest,

you didn't go alone,

For part of us went with you

the day God took you home.

Preceding her in death were her parents, 2 daughters, brothers Jim and Mike Waldner, sister Kathryn Waldner, and in-laws and 2 brothers-in-law.
