David J Brimer

David J. Brimer, age 81, Henry, died in the Prairie Lakes Hospital at Watertown early Saturday morning, December 2, 2017.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 2PM in the Furness Funeral Home Chapel at Clark with Pastor Mark Tracy officiating.  Dorothy Fuller will be the pianist with congregational singing. Burial will be at a later date in the Woodbine Cemetery at Valley City, ND.

There will be no visitation.

He was born David James Brimer on April 3, 1936 in Valley City, ND, the son of Floyd and Ruth (Hull) Brimer.   David was united to Iris Forde of North Dakota.

The couple has lived in North Dakota, Arizona and South Dakota. As a career, David was a livestock nutritionist for many years, selling minerals and vitamins for livestock. They also spent several years making and selling kettle-korn at various events in Arizona and South Dakota, something he thoroughly enjoyed, having an opportunity to visit and see many folks. David will long be remembered for his wood working capability, being a perfectionist with his creations. The also enjoyed many years of traveling with their 5th wheel.

Survivors include his wife of over 62 years, Iris of Henry, children, David (Kim) Brimer of Fergus Falls, MN, DiAnn (Gene) Deyo of Hermosa, SD, and William (Kym) Brimer of Soda Springs, ID, a brother, Richard Brimer of Texas; six grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents and siblings, Ann and Charles.
