Daryl Wileman

Daryl Wileman, age 81, of Clark, SD died at Avantara in Clark on Friday, June 10, 2022.

Visitation will be held Thursday evening, June 16, 2022 at the Furness Funeral Home of Clark from 5-7 PM and one hour prior to services. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon June 17, 2022 at 2 PM at the Assembly of God Church of Clark with Reverend Mark Cronauer officiating. Casket bearers will be Blair Arne, Ed Luckhurst, Jerry Olson, Michael Sanchez, Dan Duenwald, and Scotty Finstad.

Daryl Lee Wileman was born June 20, 1940 in Murdo, SD to Harry and Mabel Wileman. He grew up on a ranch south of Murdo and attended his elementary grades in the Westover Country School. In 1955, his parents sold the ranch and moved to Prior Lake, MN where he attended Jr. High school. They purchased a mobile home park in Shakopee, MN the same year. He attended Shakopee High School. As a young man, he worked at many different jobs in the Minneapolis area and also around the Devil's Tower in Wyoming.

He met and married Judith Green on January 30, 1960. They made their home in Redington, NE for three years before moving to Aitkin, MN where they bought a dairy farm.

In 1969, being called of God, sold their farm and moved to Jamestown, ND for further education. Since then, he has pastored for 33 years in Murdo, SD, Pipestone, MN, New England, ND, Sturgis, SD, and Clark, SD. Christmas day of 2005 was his farewell sermon as he retired from ministry because of health problems.

Daryl was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Mabel Wileman; brothers, Donivan, Boyd, and Dale; and sister Yvonne.

Daryl is survived by his wife, Judith; one son, Ron of Watertown, SD; one daughter, Linda and Steve Lilly of Springfield, MO; one grandson, Dakota; one brother and one sister.
