Clinton Foster

Clinton Eugene Foster, 33, of Blytheville, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, August 14, 2021.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, August 20, 2021, from 4-7 PM at the Clark American Legion Hall, Clark, SD.

Clinton was born December 2, 1987, in Watertown, SD. He was a metallurgist for Nucor-Yamato Steel. He was very intelligent and was the Valedictorian of the Clark High School Class of 2006. He could do anything he set his mind to. He loved his wife and best friend, Abbie, and their two daughters, Molly and Daly, more than anything.

Clinton was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed everything from skiing and snowboarding to dirt bikes and motocross. His true passion was bike riding. Clinton was a member of the Fly Away Flat Landers Bike Club and enjoyed riding street bikes and mountain bikes. Not only did he have a passion for riding, but he wanted to make sure that everyone had a bike to enjoy. He was working on rebuilding bikes for underprivileged children so that they had an opportunity to experience bike riding. Along with his passion for bikes, he thoroughly loved to make pottery. Clinton was always up for an adventure and a hike, and he adored the Black Hills of South Dakota. Nature was serenity to him and he always had time, whether it be to stop and look at a butterfly or smelling the trees on the trail.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Collete Foster and Nicole Bussard; and grandparents, Eileen Waege and Alan Foster.

Clinton is survived by his wife, Abbie Foster of Blytheville, children Molly Marie Foster and Daly Jayne Thompson, both of Blytheville; parents, Jessie (Waege) Boss and her husband Bill of Clark, SD, and Mark Foster and his wife Cindy Bussard of Clark, SD; grandparents, Claryce Foster of Clark, SD, Eugene Waege of Bradley, SD, and Greg and Marie Benthin of Watertown, SD; brothers, Sheldon Foster and Jessica of Sioux Falls, SD and Luke Boss of Beardsley, MN; and sisters, Marcie Belford and JR of Watertown, SD, Janelle Skaare and Dustin of Hitchcock, SD, and Cienna Cable and Tristan of Hamill, SD.

Furness Funeral Home of Clark is assisting the family with local arrangements.
