Preceding him in death were his parents, maternal and paternal grandparents and a niece Kristy Shively.

Survivors include his son, Clifton, and siblings, Suzanne (Rick) Shively of Puyallup, WA, Barbara (Adi) Pohan of Queen Creek, AZ, Rebecca Berg of Watertown, SD, and Clint (Teresa) Stickler of Spokane, WA., along with nieces and nephews.
