Beverly Kritz

Beverly B. Pete Kritz 68 of Clark died Friday February 18, at her home in Clark after a lengthy illness. Funeral services will be Monday at the United Methodist Church in Clark with burial to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday night from 5 to 7PM at the Furness Funeral Home in Clark. Pete was born on August 4, 1936 in Doland, SD to Floyd and Marion (Hofma) Gereaux. She attended high school in Doland. On July 24, 1953 she was united in marriage with Donald Kritz in Evansville, Ind. The couple lived in Rockham and Doland for a time then moved to Hammond, Ind. before returning to Clark in 1960. Pete worked for King Koin Laundromat in Clark for 31 years. She also operated her own sewing business called Sew What for many years. She was a member of United Methodist Church of Clark and the United Methodist Church Women. She is survived by four children: Kathy and husband Greg Williams of Sacramento, CA; Kandace Kim Kritz and fianc David Nauman of Pierre, SD; Kelli Kritz of Clark, SD and Donald Kritz Jr. with wife Teresa (Marlow) of Colorado Springs, CO. Four grandchildren: Matthew Emerson and wife Susie of Pierre, SD; Brianna Emerson, Washington, DC; Airman Benjamin Emerson, Diess AFB, TX; and Adam Emerson, Pierre, SD. Sisters: Dolores and husband Harry Jones, Elma, WA; Bonnie Guest, Benson, MN; and Carol and husband Gary Fandrich of ND. Brothers: Larry Gereaux, Doland, SD and Robert Gereaux and wife Elaine, Yankton SD. She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers Delwin and David Gereaux, and one sister Pat Bailey.
