Beverly I. Kelley, age 80, Saint Francis, MN, formerly of Clark died in a Elk River care center on Wednesday afternoon, March 14, 2007. She was the widow of Elmer Kelley. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at 2PM in the Furness Funeral Home Chapel at Clark with the Reverend Warren Rhodes officiating. Burial will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery at Clark. Dorothy Fuller will provide the special music. Casketbearers will be Jerry and John Olson, Roger and Russ Hurlbert, Francis Hass and Bob Gergen. Closed casket visitation will be held one hour preceding services in the chapel on Tuesday. Beverly Irene Kelley was born on August 24, 1926 at Groton, SD, the daughter of Oscar and Nettie (Zaworsky) Jensen. She and her Mother moved to Britton, SD where she attended school, graduating from Britton High School in 1944. In 1946 she moved to Watertown where she attended the Watertown School of Cosmetology. On June 1, 1947 she was united in marriage to Elmer Kelley at Watertown. They lived in Watertown until 1951 when they moved to Tracy, MN. In 1958 they moved to Clark where Elmer was the Ford salesman for Olson Motor Co. He died on September 9, 1995. She continued living in Clark in her own home until moving into the City View Apartments. She had been living in Saint Francis, MN to be near her son since June of 2005. In January of this year she entered the care center in Elk River. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, working puzzles and visiting with friends. Survivors include her son Terry A. Kelley of Saint Francis, MN, a sister, Doris Wesierski and husband Donald of Clarkston, MI and a brother, Daniel Lamke of Mesa, AZ, and several neices and nephews. She also leaves sisters-in-law, Barbara Kelley, Verneva Roe and husband Rea and brother-in-law, Merle Kelley and wife Madolyn. Preceding her in death were her Mother and Step-Father, Nettie & Carl Lamke, husband Elmer and a step-sister, Thelma Sims. Email condolences to www.furnessfuneralhome.com
