Bettie B. Willoughby was born April 15, 1934 at Baylor Hospital in Dallas, Texas, to James T Dollins and Winnie B Kay.  Bettie lived the majority of her live in the Dallas area.  She attended Roger Q Mills, Trinity Heights and Adamson High School where she graduated.

Bettie married the love of her life, Donald E Willoughby, August 23, 1953 after he returned from the Korean War, at the First Baptist Church of Oak Cliff in Dallas.  They were married for 37 years, had 4 children and 9 grandchildren together before Don passed away in 1990.  She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and traveled around the world to be with them.
