You helped us in our struggles You helped us in our strife You did not forsake us You stood by our side As days turned to months And months turned to years Yet you were there beside us And helped us conquer fears. When we thought we couldnt Make it through another hour You sent a friend or loved one Or had someone to call You were always there to guide us You gave us strength to go on And now that time has come to pass Where we must say good-bye.
