Barbara Glanzer

Barbara Glanzer, 83, Fordham Colony, rural Carpenter, SD, the widow of David D. Glanzer, died on September 23, 2012 in the Huron Regional Medical Center. Visitation begins at 4PM today, Tuesday, at her home at Fordham Colony with wake services later tonight at the colony. Funeral services will begin at 2PM Wednesday at the colony with burial following in the Fordham Colony Cemetery. She was born on November 9, 1928 at Manitoba, Canada, the daughter of John and Barbara (Tschetter) Wipf. On May 5, 1949 she was united in marriage to David S. Glanzer at Huron. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband David, 4 children in infancy, 8 brothers, 4 sisters, a grandson and a great-grandson and a daughter-in-law, Kathy Glanzer. Grateful for having shared her life are her children, John (Lillian) Glanzer and David (Alice) Glanzer, Susie Glanzer all of Fordham Colony and Hardy Glanzer of West Fargo, ND, 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
