Ann Eneboe Foster, was born on a farm near Owasa, IA, on September 6, 1920, to Herman and Effie (Bates) Eggena. Her family moved to South Dakota when she was a small child. She attended country school, graduated from Clark High School in 1939, and attended Northern Teacher's College earning a certificate to teach. She taught for three years in country schools.

On June 7, 1942, Ann and Harold Eneboe were united in marriage at the St. Paul Parsonage at Clark, SD. They settled on the Eneboe family farm north of Clark. They had four children. Roma was born in 1944, Carolyn 1949, Virginia in 1952, and Allen in 1956. Their children were all baptized and confirmed at Clark Center Lutheran Church.

Ann was very involved in church and the community. She was active in the Ladies Aid, WELCA, teaching Sunday School, St. Paul Lutheran Church, Rainbow Club, the Thrifty Gals Extension Club, Clark American Legion Auxiliary and leadership of the Garfield-Go-Getters 4-H Club. However, she always found time for her flowers and large garden.  She had the green thumb of the family, along with daughter Carolyn,  as she could make anything grow! She canned and froze many vegetables throughout her life and made many beautiful quilts.

In 1970, Ann began working at the potato plant and continued that for 8 years. Soon after that (1980), Harold and Ann started going to Texas for the winter. She learned how to play bridge and enjoyed that very much. But dancing was another thing she truly enjoyed, and they had lots of opportunities to dance while in Texas.

Harold passed away in September 1986. They were married 44 years.

Ann continued to go to Donna, TX and later met Lloyd Foster. They were married July 6, 1989 and lived in Estelline, SD in the summer and wintered in Texas. She did this for 28 years.  In 2011, Lloyd passed away and Ann decided to move back to Clark to a townhome at Pebble Beach.  She had been living at Wookey's Assisted Living since December 2017.

Ann is survived by daughters Roma Nelson of De Pere, WI, Carolyn (Gene) Helkenn of Clark, Virginia (Lee) Schmunk of Spearfish, son Allen (Brenda) Eneboe of Avondale, AZ, stepsons Lowell Foster and Craig (Jean) Foster. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, 1 niece, and 3 nephews.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, two brothers, Curtis and Fred, two husbands, Harold and Lloyd, daughter-in-law Carol Foster, step daughter Cheryl, son-in-law Gary Nelson, and niece Linda Edwards.
