Agnes Lamp, age 86, Watertown, the widow of Jesse Lamp, died on Tuesday evening, September 29, 2015 in a Watertown care center. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at 1PM in the Furness Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Scott Dempster officiating. There will be visitation 2 hours prior to the services on Saturday. Burial will follow the services in the Rose Hill Cemetery at Clark. Casketbearers will be Eddy Rieke, Rob Roussel, John Trebesch and Kevin Schaefer. Music will be provided by Wendy Christman. She was born Agnes Rieke on February 15, 1929 in Clark, the daughter of Lloyd and Elva(Kruthoff) Rieke. Agnes attended country school in Fordham Township and then Clark High School graduating in 1947. She helped on the family farm and care taking for her siblings. On December 5, 1949 she was united in marriage to Jesse C. Lamp at Marshall, MN. The couple lived and farmed south of Doland, SD and then later to a farm northwest of Willow Lake. In the 1960's they moved to Watertown and have resided there since. Agnes never worked outside the home, but supported her husband Jesse in many of his business affairs after moving from the farm. Jesse was a real estate broker and also assisted Dr. David Longworth with property management. She was a former member of the Order of Eastern Star. Survivors include her siblings, Mary (Robert) Snavely of San Diego, CA, Robert (Rose) Rieke of Clark and Carole (Jim) Roussel of Pierre., several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and great nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband Jesse in January of 2012, a sister, Guida (John) Leiviska and a niece Shelly Schaefer.
